สสส. และ ThaiPBS นั้น ในแต่ละปีมีรายได้จาก Earmarked Tax รวมกันประมาณ 6,000 ล้านบาทต่อปี ซึ่งเมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับรายได้จากเงินภาษีอากรทั้งหมดคือ 2,670,000 ล้านบาท ถือว่าเป็นสัดส่วนที่เล็กน้อยมาก
